I've done a lot of experimenting with ways to sow seeds. I'd read about seed mats and decided to try these. Park Seed is an old, respected garden supply company so I went with a known supplier rather than getting something from some off brand. I think these would be a great project for a little kid to get them interested in the natural world or to give as a housewarming gift to a beginner gardener or someone with limited space.
I thought this looked like a pretty effortless way to plant perennials in one of our new raised beds but I acquired it too late in the year to plant. So, I will use this in the spring. It looks easy to use and can be customized to whatever shaped bed you have. If they do not grow next spring, though, I will find and update my review and change my rating to reflect my experience. I trust the OnsaleSeeds brand and expect that I will be just as satisfied with this mat as I have been with their other seeds.
